01 / Background

Data lived in Excel. The boss could not see today

A regional logistics company moving 20,000 orders a day. But data was scattered: orders in TMS, vehicle positions on the GPS platform, finance in Excel. The daily operations report was hand-assembled by finance over 2 hours every evening; ask the boss "how many trucks are on the road right now" and nobody could answer.

The goal was clear: one screen showing real-time operations, one system running three departments.

02 / Core Features

Dashboard, admin, reports, tasks — one system

Real-time Dashboard

Order volume, trucks in transit, on-time rate, anomaly alerts — refreshed every second, on a 65-inch lobby screen.

§

Vehicle Tracking

GPS data to DB in real time, map pins, click for single-vehicle history.

RBAC Permissions

Boss sees all, dispatcher sees orders, finance sees settlement, drivers see only their own tasks.

Report Export

Daily/weekly/monthly reports one-click to Excel; client-wise settlement summaries.

Scheduled Tasks

Daily report auto-generated at midnight, pushed to management via WeChat Work.

Anomaly Alerts

On-time rate drops or long vehicle dwell trigger alerts to the dispatch desk.

03 / Tech Details

Full-stack separation, real-time is a hard requirement

Front-endReact + TypeScript, ECharts visualization; dedicated dashboard layout for 4K screens and browsers.
Real-timeWebSocket push for order flow and vehicle positions, latency under 1s; auto-reconnect with incremental sync.
Back-endNode.js + relational DB; orders and tracks in separate tables, monthly archiving, indexed queries.
SecurityRBAC + JWT + audit log; driver tokens only access their own task APIs.
IntegrationConnect existing TMS and GPS platforms via API, incremental sync with idempotency.
StabilityScheduled tasks auto-retry with alerts; 1+ year in production with zero monthly failures.
04 / Client Success

"Month-end reconciliation used to take three days; now reports export in one click. The lobby screen is the best part — clients visit and see us handling 20,000 orders a day. More convincing than any PPT."
